is a writer and human research subject from Alabama. Cory is currently at work on his debut nonfiction book, Lab Rat—a cultural history of medicine told through the story of the human research subject. Cory’s writing on health and pharmacy has been supported by the Tin House Summer Workshop, the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and his work is forthcoming in Brevity. He lives in New Orleans.
